WHAT'S NEXT...

The following activities will be taking place on the Grand Park Construction Site for the month of May 2012

Milestones Complete:

  • Grand Avenue ramps complete and open November 14, 2011.
  • Starbucks complete and open December 19, 2012.
  • Planting of plants in Block 1 complete March 26, 2012
  • Judges Ramp Open from Spring St. February 20, 2012
  • Planting of Block 2 complete April 30, 20

Fountain:

  • Fountain programming & commissioning ongoing during April and will complete in May
  • Punch list work has begun and will continue during May 2012
  • Review of Fountain programming by County end of April 2012
  • Fountain complete May 2012

Block 1

  • Trees & Plant material completed March 2012
  • Punch List nearing completion in block 1
  • Elevator building & Park management office will complete in May 2012
  • Elevator inspection and acceptance scheduled mid May 2012.
  • Punchlist of all planting block 1 to commence first week of May 2012.
  • Signage to be installed May 2012
  • Furniture to be installed May 2012

Block 2:

  • North & South promenades, roads, will complete in first week of May 2012.
  • Punchlist of block 2 to commence first week of May 2012.
  • Planting of block 2 completes end of April 2012
  • Punchlist of all planting for block 2 first week of May 2012
  • Signage to be installed May 2012
  • Furniture to be installed May 2012

Block 4: 

  • Park Services Building” completes mid May 2012.
  • Architectural concrete hardscape will complete second week of May 2012.
  • “A” permit work @ 2 promenade walks Spring St. first week of May 2012
  • Trees nearing completion of planting block 4 end of April 2012
  • Planting of plants and lawns to complete May 2012
  • Stainless rails and finishes, lights, etc… ongoing during May 2012
  • Signage to be installed May 2012
  • Furniture to be installed May 2012

Block 3:
 

  • Broadway terrace will complete pouring of architectural concrete May 2012
  • “A” permit sidewalks Broadway will complete first week May 2012
  • Trees nearing completion of planting block 3, and will complete first week of May 2012
  • Flagpoles in new Court of Flags will be installed last week of April.
  • Historical plaques to be installed as well as granite benches in May 2012
  • Signage to be installed May 2012
  • Furniture to be installed May 2012
